Wow! It has been quite a ride lately. We had 3 fashion shows in three different locations in 11 days! There were a total of 38 models and 156 garment changes in all. Needless to say, Hannah and I were absolutely exhausted by the time we got everything back to Greenfield on Sunday evening. Since then we have both been sick but are on the road to recovery now. All the dresses are put back in order and we are back to running a wedding shop.
We had a prom show at one of the local high schools to start things off on Wednesday, February 16th. We had a party, prom and bridal show at the Creative Arts and Event Center in downtown Greenfield on Saturday February 19th which we also co-hosted and our final show was at the Richmond Square Mall in Richmon Indiana on Sunday February 27th. That one just about did us in! Hopefully all of our hard work will pay off in increased business.
Still to look forward to is the Hancock County Bridal Fair on March 19th at J.B. Steven's Elementary School. We just have a booth in that one. We turned down the opportunity to provide the fashion show because of our over-extended schedule.
Spring weather is teasing us. One day it gets warm and the sun shines, the next day we experience torential downpours and the next day it snows. It has been a long, extremely hard, cold winter. We are so ready for the weather to break once and for all.
Keep smilin! Good things are coming!
